Normally I am all about finding unknown foodie spots for great recommendations, but being new to Boston I have to hit some of the touristy spots too. I mean, how can I not?
Over the weekend a great friend of mine visited and so it made being a tourist that much easier. On Sunday afternoon, despite the super cloudy and snowy weather, we went up to the Top of the Hub. On a more clear and sunny day the lounge offers a great view of Back Bay and the streets of Boston, however on our visit we just saw white clouds. It was a disappointment, but the drinks and appetizers we ordered were not.
We got their cheese assortment, which is a collection of four cheeses that are considered “seasonal,” berries, a wheat bread toast, and a light raisin glaze. It was delicious…we completely cleared the board. My friend got their “banana foster” martini and I got a grapefruit one. We couldn’t resist.
I’m definitely going to try and go back on a day with a view, but I still don’t regret going here just to try these fun items.
Have any of you been here? What’s your favorite thing to order? – let me know in the comments section!

This looks amazing! I actually haven’t been here yet and I’ve been living here for almost four years, this makes me want to go like, yesterday!
