SoWa Open Market

Boston’s South End is now one of the nicest, best places to get the real Boston feel. However it wasn’t always like this, and cities remember histories. However, spiraling off of the area’s artistic culture, the South End is known for Boston’s largest open market from April to October every year, and a few seasonal pop-ups in the winter too!

The South End Open Market (SoWa Market) is myh favorite thing about Boston in the warm weather. It’s a farmer’s market, it has art, it has tastings, it has clothes, jewelry, food trucks, a beer garden, and more! From 10-2 pm every Saturday and Sunday it is not something to miss out on.

Three years ago, I bought a bird feeder made out of a giant gourd, painted with the Boston Bruins logo. Seriously. This IS the kind of thing I buy. It hangs in my maple tree and swings wildly in the wind, making it completely unsuitable for bird habitation, I’m sure.
